Teo Martín eSports start 2018 Blancpain GT Series World Championship in Bathurst
Teo Martín eSports team will start this Saturday in Bathurst the 2018 Blancpain GT Series World Championship, the most prestigious team championship in simracing.
After six qualifying rounds in Monza, Silverstone, Suzuka, Road Atlanta, Spa-Francorchamps and Nürburgring, the team formed by Julián Rodríguez, Álvaro Ramiro and Alfredo Malo achieved the target to be in top 26 and they will have PRO WC license this year.
They will fight against best teams in simracing -among those are another 12 Spanish teams- in a calendar with 8 rounds (the worst result will not count for final result) with almost 30.000 dollars in prizes.
The team will participate in the champisonship with the BMW Z4 and Julián and Álvaro will represent the team this time in Mount Panorama between its narrow walls in which Teo Martín eSports already shone in 2017 with a fantastic 1-2-3 in the second V8MGT round in Supercars class.
The track has more than 6 kilometers and two great straights with more than one kilometer end by two turns of 90 degrees and the other by the up and downhill with sinuous and narrow eses in which is very easy to make mistakes.
The race will be live from 14:45pm (Spanish time) at iRacing Youtube channel.
