Teo Martín eSports enters top-5 in Neo Endurance Series standings
Teo Martín eSports team continues its progression in the 2017 Neo Endurance Series and after achieving its first podium in Road America, now the sixth place in Motegi places the team among the five best of the championship in midseason.
On this occasion, Alvaro Ramiro and David Pérez formed a pair because of Julián Rodríguez’s last-minute absence, although the driver form Canary Islands was very quick in his stints even without preparation. Álvaro started the race from tenth grid position to face six hours of racing at the highest level.
At the start Ramiro overtook the ninth and after the first stop he was eighth. It was then turn for David Perez who maintained the good pace of his teammate until midrace, when the final relay arrived fighting for seventh place.
Without rest and always needing to give the maximum in each lap, the strategy worked again and after the last stop the team gained a new position to reach sixth in which they crossed the finish line to place themselves in the overall top 5 and ready for the next challenges in the championship.
Fourth race of the championship will take place in Nürburgring on January 14th.
