Teo Martín eSports achieved a great P6 in its first 2018 iRacing Special Event: the 24 Hours of Daytona.

Julián Rodríguez, Álvaro Ramiro and David Pérez share duties this time to put the team among the best in Split 1 with the Corvette DP.

The team was P11 on the grid but quickly started to climb positions and after 1 hour the team was P8 with a steady pace and thinking about the strategy. Neverthless, a hard contact in second hour forced the team to an early visit to the pitlane to repare de car loosing 2 laps with the leader so the race changed completely.

From that moment in which the team returned in twelfth position and with a lack of speed due to the incident, the Teo Martín eSports team drivers gear up without losing sight of the objective of finish the race and being constant waiting for rivals’ errors. which arrived in the later hours.

Reached the midrace, the Spanish team returned to the eighth place with all the night ahead but it was in the last four hours when the team was even stronger and gained two more positions trying to fight for the Top 5 until the end.

Finally, the sixth place was a great reward for the hard effort of the drivers who knew how to recover from the complicated start and get maximum of the car to put Teo Martín eSports team among the best of simracing and as the best qualified Spanish team in these 24 Hours of Daytona in the highest category.
