Hat-trick for Teo Martin eSports at Mount Panorama

The second Supercars division event in 2017 V8MGT Championship at Mount Panorama was perfect for Teo Martín eSports team.

The difficult Australian track took the drivers to the limit and the Spanish team showed a great feeling with the track from the qualifying session. The result was the Pole for Álvaro Ramiro but also the second place for David Pérez and the third for Julián Rodríguez.

All of them were aware of how necessary it was to have a good start to avoid problems in the tight up and down areas in first lap and so they did. Alvaro kept the first position followed of David and Julian while opening some gap from the beginning.

Then avoiding mistakes was the premise for all three in order to achieve a great result. Julian had a small mistake in mid-race just before the pitstops and he went down to fourth place so from that moment he managed the race and fought to secure the podium without risking thinking about the championship.

David and Álvaro started a nice and clean battle in front for the that would continue after the pitstops until the end of the race.  Two minutes after the end and after several overtaking, David took the lead and he kept it until the end achieving his first victory in the championship and second for the team. Álvaro crossed the finish line just behind him and a few seconds later Julian completed a great hat-trick with which he remains as leader in this division followed by David, second and Alvaro fourth.

Next event for Teo Martín eSports is scheduled for Wednesday October 3rd and that will be the second round for the V8MGT championship in its V8 divission at Mount Panorama venue again with Víctor Lobato as representant on track.
