Great performance for Teo Martín eSports in OWMGT season opener

Teo Martín eSports had a great performance in 2018 OWMGT season opener at Monza with 5 drivers in Elite class.

David Pérez achieved a P4 in qualy with Víctor Lobato (P13), Julián Rodríguez (P14), Pablo López (P22) and Álvaro Ramiro (P31). David lost one place in first lap while Víctor went down to P16 with Julián P17, Pablo defending P22 and Álvaro climbing to P26.

Then the problems came in third lap with an accident in first chicane in which David Pérez was involved with many contacts and spins but Ramiro took advantage of that and advanced to P13 in just a couple of turns.

With the race stabilized, the first pitstop would give some action for second part of the race with Ramiro in P6, Lobato P9, Rodríguez P16 after an accident just like Pérez in P18 and López P20 with external problems in his pitstop.

Álvaro’s pace allowed him to advance to P5 in which he crossed the finish line after recovering 26 places. Behind him were Víctor Lobato (P11), David Pérez (P16), Pablo López (P17) and Julián Rodríguez (P19).

On the other hand, Alfredo Malo showed his talent in Next class climbing many positions in just a couple of laps at Spa-Francorchamps but an accident in last chicane forced him to retire.

The next OWMGT events will be held on May 2nd in Road Atlanta (Next class) and May 9th in Suzuka (Elite class).
