The Spanish Karting Championship, promoted by the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, integrates five different categories and championships, depending on the age and the material used to compete.

Spanish Karting Championships for 2017/2018 season:

  • Juvenile (Drivers between 8 and 11 years old)
  • Cadet (Drivers with 10, 11 or 12 years old during the season)
  • Junior (Drivers with 12, 13 or 14 years old during the season)
  • Senior (drivers who are at least 14 years old during the season)
  • Senior KZ2 – with gear shift (who are at least 15 years old during the season)
  • Senior KZ2 – SILVER – with gear shift (who are at least 30 years old before April 8th)

All of them have the supervision and organization of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, which is in charge of ensuring the proper development of careers and compliance with regulations in coordination with the circuits that host the meetings.

The karting tracks in Spain are among the best on the international scene. Proof of this is the confidence that the CIK-FIA has shown in the Spanish installations, which have hosted numerous European and world events in last decade.

6 Free Practice sessions per class

Warm-up, Official qualifying sessions

Two qualifying heats per class to set Sunday’s grid

The Spanish Karting Championship has become in an international reference for drivers from different countries in recent years, who visit our circuits to getting better in their sporting development. All the Spanish drivers who are o were references in international competitions began their career in this Championship: Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz Jr., Miguel Molina, Jaime Alguersuari, Roberto Merhi, Antonio Garcia, Andy Soucek and a long etcetera of great drivers.
